You get Day's newest super couple, Shawn and Belle.

Shawn and Belle were life long friends. When Shawn was twelve, he was sent to boarding school. This broke both his and Belle's heart. He returned three years later, with his mind set on proving that his mom wasn't who she said she was.

In October of 1999, Salem High hosted a Fall Ball. Shawn and Belle were sophomores. It was a chance for couples to separate and get together. Philip went to the dance with hopes of winning the popular Belle Black's dance. After begging Shawn to take her, down on her hands and knees, Mimi and Shawn went together. Mimi made up an excuse of being a soccer player as opposed to a cheerleader, and cheerleaders dance! Philip placed bets with numerous people saying that Belle would come to the dance without a dancing partner, but his plans were spoiled when his nephew and her got it going on the dance floor!

A few months later, Shawn was upset to learn that his parents were getting remarried. He quickly enlisted Belle as his assistant in proving that the woman his father was marrying was not Hope Williams. Belle called the Bride's cellphone, were she revealed to the shocked Belle that she was indeed not Hope, but Gina. Gina and Shawn went up to the roof to confront eachother, but Gina pulled a gun. That night three people ended up shot. Shawn, Gina and Marlena. Belle waited at Shawn's bedside until he awoke. It was proven that Hope was actually Gina when a DNA test was performed on Shawn.

The Bradys, Blacks, and Hortons all took off on an adventure. Mimi joined them. She was developing a crush, and Belle was too. They both were beginning to like Shawn!

While on their way to Europe, it was discovered that Dimera, had his men plant a bomb on the plane. The plane went down. They landed near a deserted island. A few men swam ahead. They rest of the passengers stayed behind on the island. Mimi and Belle dubbed the island "Alice's Isle". While on the island, Belle talked about not wanting to grow up, and Shawn told her she didn't always need to be perfect. The passengers were rescued, and so was Hope.

For Shawn's sixteenth birthday he recieved sixteen gift including a new brother or sister.  It was soon discovered that Hope was pregnant, and Bo was NOT the father. Both Bo and Hope felt that it was important for their baby to be born to parents (Bo and Hope) that were married. While eloping thoough, Hope went into labor. They exchanged vows with eachother, only infront of Shanw and the Doctors, while in the delivery room.

Shawn and Philip were playing video games at DOT.com when Jason and Jan came in. Jason suggested a bet between the two. The loser has to take Ghoul Girl to the Last Blast Dance. Philip was determined not to lose and Shawn didn't care either way. Shawn... won! Philip was forced to go with Chloe.

Shawn desided to ask Belle to the dance, but while he was asking Mim showed up, and he desided to ask both of them to go as friends, and the both said yes.

At the dance, Mimi was acting suspicous. Shanw and Belle realized, after Chloe was crowned queen that there was a bucket above her head, and Shawn went out knock it out of the way.

They gang later found out the Mimi was homeless.  Her father had lost his job, and they had no where to live.   John Black offer to buy a lot and Habitat For Humanity offered to help the kids build the Lockharts a house.  They gang took them all up on there offer.  While building the house they found a can.
